Artist's Comments
So I noticed that dan-sch was always giving me nice comments and compliments on what little work I submit here, and I didn't comment very often just because of a lack of being on. Since he has submitted like 100 deviations since my last one, I felt that a different kind of tribute was in order. So I thought the best way to say "Good Job!" or "Nice character!" would be to whip up some fanart. So I did.
This is my character the Silver Spectre and the Fowl teaming up for action. I chose Spectre for this because I felt he was definitely in theme with the Fowl, and that they are both somewhat "Shadow influenced". They are up against a wall, and a spotlight has fallen on them. I wasn't going to color it, but I wanted to add some light greys to Spectre, then color his goggles, and then...well you get the idea. If anyone wants to try their hand coloring this pic, or just wants to see the black and white version, I will be happy to upload it. Just let me know. The Fowl is the property of dan-sch. The Silver Spectre is mine. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
